Comedian Gareth Berliner has firmly established himself as an accomplished comic performer. He has been performing stand-up professionally in the UK and Internationally for 6 years since blagging his first 5 minutes at Up The Creek in Greenwich.
With regular appearances at Comedy Clubs , The Comedy Cafe, GSOH, Komedia, The Comedy Company, The Stand, The 99 Club, The Covent Garden Comedy Club, Jongleurs etc...and all manner of gigs around the UK, working for Major Agencies and Promoters Berliner is a Funny, Consistent, Hardworking Professional act to deal with. He also Hates talking about himself in the third person.
Touring Internationally at Fringe Festivals (Adelaide, Melbourne) and Comedy Clubs in Australia performing in Sydney (Sydney Comedy Store, Coogee Comedy Club and others), Brisbane ( The Sit-Down Comedy Club) and Adelaide (Rhino Room, Casino etc...) as well as closer to home in Europe also (Tenerife, Jersey, Guernsey, Ireland, Berlin, Paris).
Irresistibly amiable, Gareth's act touches on his odd life and perspective and this affords him the ability to tell some intricately woven anecdotes and sharply crafted gags with an edge.
In 2005 after only having performed stand-up for two years, he performed his first Solo show GUTLESS, covering every subject from Superheroes to Suicide, at The Melbourne Comedy Festival before taking it to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and receiving 4 stars from The Metro (Edinbugh). He then went on to perform the show at The Adalaide Comedy Festival as well as at a corporate level elsewhere in the UK.
Since then he has performed two more solo shows, Love....It’s Not A Big Enough Word in 2006 and Gareth Berliner: An Inch of Integrity which has just had its debut at the Brighton Fringe Festival 2011 and he’ll be taking it to Adelaide for its International Debut in 2012
He also performs with Abnormally Funny People in a show that has toured universities around the UK , provided entertainment at all of the Party Political Conferences and other corporate events as well as having a sell-out run at The Soho Theatre in Londons West-End.
Utilising his life experiences he performs stand-up in an NHS funded show called Cracking Up that tackles the difficult issues of Mental Health in a hilarious and thought provoking way.
Gareth has also worked as a DJ/Host for an Online Radio Station, SW1 Radio
In Early 2011 he supported Tom Stade on a date of his National Tour.
In Late 2011 He Supported Hal Cruttenden for 10 dates of his Tiny Rage tour.
In 2012 he will make his debut in a new show with his Fiancee , actress and comedian Kiruna Stamell with their show A Little Commitment.
His warm cheeky personality and high energy mark him out as an ideal Compere, Stand-up or Presenter for a Comedy Club, Radio, T.V or Corporate event.
